Ugh! Why do I dwell on ridiculous things?!?! On Facebook, I was un-friended and BLOCKED by someone I really didn't care about anyway, but it is really bothering me! This shouldn't matter to me, but for some reason I just can't shake it. Maybe it's because this person is still friends with mutual friends; maybe it's because I don't know why I was un-friended and blocked. I am about 99.9% sure this was not by accident though...
So I need to get over it!
I'm trying. I really am.
Really.
Becoming a mom changes your life in more ways than you could ever imagine. Life completely changed for me when I was given the awesome responsibility of shaping a little life. Now I have two little lives to shape... another new beginning.

blue eyes
My Cowboy has the biggest, brightest blue eyes I think I've ever seen. It's the feature that most people notice about him first. He has eyes like my mom; I adore my mom, therefore I love him that much more!
Sweet boy, you can have whatever you want if you just look at me and smile!

"Cowboy" - from 11/2009
My little man was born November 2nd... so here is a little look back at some precious memories!
I'm a mom of 2 now. We're a family of 4. I keep having to say that over and over again to myself because I don't quite believe it.
Our newest member was born at 12:31 pm and weighed 9 lbs, 2 oz!!! Crazy big!

"Cowboy" was born at the hospital that I work at. As I laid there on the OR table, I smiled as I heard his first cries, but frowned when I heard him start to grunt (a sign that he was working hard to breathe). Figures my kid would grunt! So apparently he really loved all the special attention he got from my friends in the NICU prior to his birth, that he just had to meet them in person....
so he went to the NICU for the night. He was held and loved when he couldn't be with me. I am so blessed to work with an amazing group of women whom I get to call friends!
After his little NICU sleepover, he finally came to my room to be loved on by us!
My last post
When I typed the title of this post, it kind of sounded like this is my last post, but that's not what I meant. I am referring to my "most recent" post from January 4th. After I posted on that day I started working on my birth announcement post for my son, including pictures and his birth story. On January 7th, my grandpa passed away. Grandpa was probably my #1 reader and so I needed some time to figure out if I was going to continue this little blog of mine with out him.
My grandpa was the first in our family to have a computer. When I was a little girl I would spend time over at his place just trying to figure out the computer. It had a 640kb hard drive and two 5 1/4 inch floppy drives. I mostly spent my time playing space invaders and making cards on "The Print Shop" but I was overjoyed when he upgraded to a new computer and gave his old one to me!!!
My grandpa was a brilliant man, more brilliant than I ever actually knew. He was genorous to his grandkids and he was always very thoughtful - he never ever missed a birthday, holiday, or anniversary. He always sent a homemade card, and I treasure the ones that I still have. How many people can actually say that their grandpa was a friend in real life and also on Facebook?!
He was an incredible man and I will truly miss him forever. LOLO!
I have had a few friends ask me to pick the blog back up, so I'm going to give it another go! I can't wait to introduce my son to those of you who have not met him in person yet! He's now 5 months old and he is just a joy to be around! I love this age! I love the big toothless grins, the big eyes, the squeals, and the babbles.
My girl is such a hoot! She is the best big sister, she tells me "I love him too much, Mommy!" It really nice to have her around to entertain him. He simply adores her! And she is very entertaining!
Pictures soon!
